In this post, I will list 37 ways to improve your mind, body and soul almost instantly. You could use it as an inspiration or guidance, as long as you leave this page with the decision to try at least one of these ideas

Mind 

Read five pages every day 

Reading every day stimulates your mental activity, keeps it active and slows down the process of getting mental disorders such as Dementia and Alzheimer. 

Knowledge is power and it doesn’t matter what genre you reading, as long as you read something that inspires you.




Journal daily 

You can write down anything you want in your Bullet Journal or any other Journal you have. Even a piece of paper will do it. Writing down your thoughts clearers your mind and helps to improve your mood. 


Gratitude list 

You can add this to your Journal. Write down 3 to 5 things you are grateful for each day, so you will always be reminded on how blessed you are. 


Try something new 

Make the most out of your life and show yourself what you are capable of. Are there things you always wanted to try out, don't wait any longer, do it !


Have a phone free morning and night 

Seeing or reading something negative as you start your day or before you go to sleep can trigger your stress response. These emotions can leave you sleepless and put you on edge for the rest of the day. 


Listen to a podcast 

Podcast can be a great way to learn new information, stay informed, and be entertained. They are also very convenient, as you can listen to them while you're doing other things, such as driving or working out. Additionally, there are many different types of podcasts available, so you can find one that interests you on a wide variety of topics. 


Establish a morning and evening routine 

Past research has shown that a consistent morning and night routine can reduce stress, boost your energy levels and improve your productivity at work. 


Plan your day ahead 

Planning ahead can help you to manage deadlines and accomplish your tasks. Day planning allows you you to look ahead at the coming day and create a general outline for what you plan to accomplish. It is different for everybody and take your time finding out what fits best for you.

Sleep is important for so many things, including improved mood, concentration, productivity, energy and boosting immunity.

Eat foods that boost your brain function 

You are what you eat.If you want your brain to function better, try to eat as healthy as possible and go for foods that support your brain function like: fatty fish, walnuts, dark chocolate (unsweetened), blueberries, green leafy veggies, and more.

One of my friends started learning Italian on Duolingo and it always made her happy to study that new language. It started making her feel cool, smart and collected. 


Body

Stay hydrated

Drink Tea

Drink more tea. Just do it. Aside from water, tea might be the best beverage for your body. Green tea is credited with a host of health-boosting benefits, like firing up your metabolism, lowering blood pressure, preventing bad breath, boosting immunity, and acting as an anti-inflammatory agent.


Nourishing foods

It may be a cliche, but you really are what you eat. The food you put in your body becomes your cells, and what you eat influences your thoughts and feelings.

Also be mindful while eating your food. Smell it, taste it, feel it. Think good thoughts while eating. All this helps You.

Some ways you can eat healthier include:

  • Eat a wide range of vegetables and fruits
  • Limit your consumption of meat, alcohol, caffeine, and sugar

Take care of your skin 

Your skin is your largest organ, so you’ve got to take care of it like you would any other part of your body. That means applying sunscreen daily and being picky about the products you use. 


Apply a face masks 

Face masks help your overall regimen. Masking helps all of your other skincare products work more efficiently. There a many out there for your different skin problems and you can just do it for the vibe. 


Exercise 4-5 times a week 

Not only is exercise essential for a healthy body, but it also elevates your mood, relieves stress, and helps maintain your brain health.  

If weightlifting isn’t your thing, sign up for aerobic classes, Zumba, or anything else that makes your heart rate almost explode for a few days weekly. Youtube is full of ideas too. Try new movements that interest you. 







Go for a morning walk

Taking a morning walk boosts your stamina, flexibility and energy. As your fitness improves, you'll be able to move through your daily activities more easily. Improve your mood. Getting outside gives you a chance to enjoy fresh air and nature.


Stretch for at least 10 min daily

Stretching your body and making your body move in the morning is as important as drinking water. Setting aside a minute or two in the morning to wake up your body will improve your flexibility and prepare you for a productive and successful day.


Go outside and enjoy the sunlight 

Go outside, enjoy the sun and all nature has to offer. Go outside and try to recapture the happiness within yourself; think of all the beauty in yourself and in everything around you and be happy.


Prepare a healthy snack 

It will provide you with a boost of energy if several hours pass between meals and blood glucose levels drop. You will have something to snack in the mean time and it helps curb your appetite to prevent overeating at the next meal. There are hundreds of recipes out there, go check them out. 


Count your steps 

Tracking your steps can help keep you accountable for moving throughout the day, and it certainly provides a nudge to sneak in more activity for improved overall health. One of the best parts is it helps to keep track of the progress which has been made over the long term. This can be a total confidence booster.


Dance 

Dancing improves your flexibility, releases endorphins in your body, and makes you smile. It’s a way to socialize with other people and have fun. So, dance!


Soul 

Watch the sun rise or set 

While it’s easy to take for granted, bearing witness to the sun as it moves over the sky can do a lot for us, from giving us a sense of gratitude to forcing us into a routine.


Laugh and have fun 

Laughter strengthens your immune system, boosts mood, diminishes pain, and protects you from the damaging effects of stress. Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. 


Pray and talk to God 

Talking to that higher power is like connecting to yourself, but outside yourself. It’s weird at the beginning, and you feel a little bit silly, but it’s probably the only way to share everything that’s stored in your heart and know that you won’t be judged.


Spend time in nature 

Spending time in nature has benefits for the body, mind, and soul.

Reconnecting to nature is crucial to our spirituality. Often go out for walks, spend some weekends in the mountains and interact with animals. All that grounds you and helps you feel calmer and happier.


Meditate daily 

Meditation helps to reduce stress and increase your awareness of negative thought patterns. It also helps you feel calmer and react more mindfully to stressful situations. Say no, without an explanation 

No, is a complete sentence. The secret to getting rid of the feelings of overwhelm and dread is to learn to say ‘no’ to new commitments and to stop feeling guilty about it.


Plant a Garden or Buy a Plant for your Room 

Gardening has been shown to have a positive impact on mood and brain chemistry. It allows us to get out into the fresh air and breathe. Gardening is a mindfulness practice where you can just exist in the moment. 


Be nice and kind to people 

Yes, this is actually something that helps you grow spiritually. Showing empathy, being kind to others and trying not to hurt anyone – that’s a necessity.


Listen to uplifting music 

When you're having a bad day, there's nothing better than playing an uplifting and joyous song as loud as you can. The bright musical tones and lyrics will change or elevate your mood and empower you for the day ahead. So go play your favorite music. 


Do coloring 

Coloring is a healthy way to relieve stress. It calms the brain and helps your body relax.

Be mindful every day

We are often alone but stuck to our phones, computers, or TV. Switch them off, close your eyes, and listen to your heart. Experience the world around you. Stay in silence – verbally and mentally. Appreciate this moment.
